The charger can be left permanently on the battery for maintenance.. It uses energy-saving techniques and advanced charge precision. The slow-start function helps battery cycle life, especially with deeply discharged batteries. The charger is fully isolated from the mains, has universal AC input, and a removable AC cord. It will accurately lithium-ion and lithium-polymer packs.
Features:
It is programmed auto 4 stages (Ip-Im-Um-cutoff) charging process, designed for 2~15Ah Li-Ion/Polymer battery pack. Stage "Ip" is a pre-charge function for deep discharged battery pack, this is helpful for battery's cycle life. When the battery recovered by pre-charge small current, stage "Im" will give bulk current charging( up to 50W). Then, "Um" stage is followed, the output voltage is limited on C.V point, until the charge current declined to 0.4A (for 3A C.C) or 0.2A(for 1.5A C.C.). At this stage, the battery is charged completely and the charger will cut off output automatic.
What's more, it can display the charging process, indicate the battery capacity from 25% to 100% timely. This is helpful for user.
For more safety, it will enable protection mode when the battery polarity reversed our the output connectors shorted.

Charge process:
Stage 1 slow start, precharge function for deeply discharged packs
Stage 2 bulk charge stage. 2.8 amps is applied to the battery until the voltage rises to 16.8 volts
Stage 3 constant voltage state until the charge current falls to 400mA
Stage 4 The charger turns off.
